Hi there! Welcome to Paz Pilates. We are a female owned, community driven, boutique studio in East Sacramento. When it comes to exercise, we believe proper form is key. It ensures that we not only move more efficiently so our muscles get the optimum workout, but it helps protect us from injury. With that in mind, we offer small group classes that offer individualized attention and a strong community vibe.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER ──────
Hi there. I am Sarah, founder and owner of Paz Pilates. I opened Paz Pilates because I believe strongly in the positive impact that a daily mindful movement practice can have on our overall health and sanity and the importance of a supportive and welcoming community. The word “paz” means peace in Spanish and is symbolic of the energy we hope to evoke in the studio as we support you with your health and fitness goals.

Sarah, Founder
My teaching style is knowledgeable, supportive, and interactive. I work to facilitate self discovery and place an emphasis on offering clear cues and a focus on proper biomechanics and muscular awareness to help you get the most out of a movement. My goal is to help you explore, be curious, learn, grow. I believe that having a mindful movement practice that allows you to focus on your body, your breath, and how it is all connected translates to all areas of your life.
Qualifications: 10+ years teaching pilates. Comprehensively certified through Stott Pilates Level 1 & 2. Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor. Certifications in Breast Cancer Recovery. In process of completing NASM certification.
Audrey, Studio Coordinator
I believe in the power of intentional movement to not only strengthen our bodies but to live a strong and happy life. As a teacher, my intention is to create a safe and welcoming space for you to come and feel the work. So come as you are and get ready to experience all of the benefits of Pilates in a warm and welcoming community.
Qualifications: 2 years teaching pilates, 5 years in the fitness industry. Completed Paz Pilates 1 year apprenticeship. Certified through Stott Pilates. 200 HR -YRT

I have been practicing Pilates for 20+ years and am motivated to bring the peace, strength, and mobility benefits I have experienced to as many people as possible. My passion is finding ways to safely challenge each class participant so they can grow in their own Pilates practice while they have fun and enjoy the benefits of a group class - Pilates should be fun! If you are having fun, you'll keep moving, and moving is thriving.
