Is Pilates for Me?

YES! Pilates is for everyone & every BODY. It is a low-impact movement practice that emphasizes correct postural alignment with the overall goal of a healthy, mobile body.  The body awareness you build through the practice translates to all areas of life, helping you move more efficiently and preventing injury so you enjoy a long, active life. And honestly, it just feels so good!

Pilates is an inclusive movement practice, designed with modifications for all bodies and abilities. Regardless of your age and physical ability/fitness level, pilates provides a great foundation for all other physical activities and helps you go through your day feeling a little taller and breathing a bit easier. We could all use that!

What to Expect at Paz

Community is important to us. We strive to create a space that is welcoming and positive. All instructors at Paz Pilates are independent but we share common values when it comes to teaching movement. Our teaching style is knowledgeable, supportive, and interactive. We work to facilitate self discovery and place an emphasis on offering clear cues and a focus on proper biomechanics and muscular awareness to help you get the most out of a movement. Our goal is to help you explore, be curious, learn, grow. We believe that having a mindful movement practice that allows you to focus on your body, your breath, and how it is all connected translates to all areas of your life.

All in person sessions take place in a bright & friendly studio in the heart of East Sacramento, easily accessible from Highway 50 & 80.

Our certified pilates instructors are independent and rent space to teach at Paz. Please inquire and book directly with the instructor whose class or session you plan to take.
